Introduce yourself to Kundalini Yoga

in a two-hour session and how it can help you.

The word ‘Yoga’ originates from Sanskrit, which is an ancient language of India. Yoga means to join or to unite. It embodies the unity of mind and body as well as thought and action.

Yoga emphasises the harmony within the self, world, and nature. The word ‘Kundalini’ from Sanskrit means ‘coiled serpent/snake’. It is a life-force energy, which is located at the base of one’s spine. It is an enormous reserve of potential and internal power within everyone.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Most people have ‘blocks’ in their bodies, where the energy is stuck. Kundalini Yoga practice helps to release ‘blocks’, open nadis (energy channels) and balance chakras (energy centres in the spine).

The energy needs to move freely through the chakras to enable awakening. When Kundalini energy rises or awakens, the ‘snake’ begins to wake up, uncoil and move through the body. It expands awareness; stimulates physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing for deeper, lasting healing.

I offer an introductory 2 hours lesson for beginners

This lesson will help you to:

✔ Understand and practice the main Kundalini Yoga points
✔ Feel energised
✔ Feel calmer
✔ Strengthen your aura, which protects from negativity
✔ Improve digestion
✔ Learn exercises, which are beneficial for your spine (especially, if you spend a lot of time sitting down during the day)
✔ Reconnect with your body, instead of being in your mind most of the time

Part 1
  • Introduction
  • Tuning in/preparing for Yoga practice
  • Lecture about and practice of Kundalini Yoga basics

Part 2
  • Kriya/set of specific energetic practices (mainly, breathing and movements) to balance the first chakra.
  • Meditation to activate the brain and clear unresolved issues
